Company Jiva Medical was formed to leverage 15 years of experience in the medical IT business along with growing popularity of the Eclipse project. Jiva Medical specializes in HL7 tooling and components, supplying to medical IT system vendors and integrators.
Jiva and HL7 Jiva Medical’s existing HL7 Connect product, based on the HL7 2.x standards, is used in a wide variety of medical IT applications. Jiva now plans to offer state of the art HL7 V3 tooling and runtime components based on the Eclipse RCP environment.
Jiva and Eclipse | Jiva Medical is a founding member of the Eclipse Open Health Framework. The project will define and create open source components for building workstation and gateway platforms to address the growing demands of cross organization interoperability.
